Donate Items to Catching Lives
We are lucky to receive lots of donated items from our local community, but please bear in mind that our storage space is limited. Please call ahead before bringing bulky items (e.g. duvets and pillows), as sometimes we have to turn donations away. Please don’t be offended if we have to say no, and thank you for thinking of us. Our number is 01227 464 904 and we’re available between 9am and 2pm daily.
What do we need?

Tomato ketchup, mayonnaise

Men's joggers and jeans
Thick socks
Weatherproof sleeping bags and tents

A decent cup of coffee
Our clients love a good cup of coffee! Some of our best conversations are over a decent cup of coffee. We’re grateful for donations of good quality instant coffee, so next time you’re at the supermarket, why not pick us up a jar?
Bags of sugar are also very welcome, we get through a lot!

Imagine moving into a home with nothing except the clothes on your back. When we manage to secure housing for clients, they often have nothing to get them started in their new life, not even a kettle or fresh bedding. As a small charity, we have to prioritise the space we have at the centre for our day clients to visit us and cannot store bulky items that might be needed for the future.
Gift cards are extremely useful to us, to enable us to establish what a client needs and take them shopping, allowing for them to choose a few items and begin to build a home with items they have picked out for themselves. Having something new for the first time in a long time (or for some, the first time ever), provides clients with dignity and choice.
We are especially keen to receive gift cards from Asda, Argos, B&M and The Range.
