Canterbury Community Shelter (CCS) provides emergency winter shelter for up to 15 people per night who would otherwise be sleeping rough. Opening between 16 December and 16 March and delivered by Catching Lives, CCS is hosted by churches around Canterbury using a different venue each night of the week.
The Shelter Coordinator is pivotal to the success of the Canterbury Community Shelter. Bridging the day and evening shifts, you’ll be responsible for practical aspects of Shelter delivery, as well as coordinating support and move-on for guests. Supported by experienced managers, and working closely with the wider team, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a homelessness charity with strong community connections.
