
Catching Lives is recruiting for two part-time, fixed term roles in our Day Centre.
Weekend Project Worker
The Weekend Project Worker will help to run the day centre every Saturday and Sunday, 8.30am-4.30pm. This role is fixed term to September 2025, at a salary of £25,522 pa pro rata.
The main focus is on the smooth running of the Centre, including managing access at reception, cleaning tasks and sorting donations, as well as chatting to clients to create a safe and welcoming environment. You'll be doing occasional one-to-one support work people who are homeless. There will always be at least one other staff member on shift with you, as well as a team of kitchen volunteers.
Centre Cleaner/Assistant
The Centre Cleaner/Assistant role is fixed term to September 2025, 10 hours a week, 2-4pm Monday to Friday at a salary of £12.60 per hour.
This role will be helping to keep the Day Centre clean and tidy after the drop-in, which includes cleaning showers and toilets, and sorting and organising items so that we offer a safe and welcoming environment.
