Winter Shelter 2021-2022

The Winter Shelter project runs from December to February every year and is available to anyone over the age of 18 rough sleeping during the Winter months. It provides a place for rough sleepers to stay indoors overnight, This provision is normally by Churches but last year, was provided by the YHA and B&Bs in the local area due to the pandemic.

Songs of Christmas – Christmas Concert

Come and join Catching Lives and the City of Canterbury Chamber Choir for Christmas music, readings and traditional carols to raise money for the homeless and vulnerable of Canterbury and East Kent. Tickets are £10 or £5 for 16s and under. The City of Canterbury Chamber will be directed by conductor, Peter Futcher and accompanied by Ed Kemp-Luck.

The Funding Network Summer Funder

World Homeless Day falls on 10th October every year and is observed around the globe as an international day to recognise the difficulties homeless people face and to educate people about homeless issues.
