Catching Lives received a late Christmas gift from Stagecoach’s very own Santa Claus terry Clowes, last week. Before Christmas Terry drove his decorated bus around the roads and streets of East Kent dressed in his wonderful homemade Santa Clause outfits. Not only did this bring a lot of smiles and good will from passengers and passers-by but it also raised awareness of the work we do with Canterbury’s homeless. Our posts about Terry on social media were seen and shared by over 12,000 people!

Most important of all Terry’s efforts helped raise funds Catching Lives. Stagecoach matched what Terry collected and we met up with him last week to collect a big cheque for £312. On top of this Stagecoach staff collected food that was put to good use in our kitchen over the Christmas period. Many thanks to all staff at Stagecoach for supporting us. We look forward to doing it again later this year.
